AromaMetrics is a product and service operated by ClearSpan, LLC. In this Privacy Policy, references to "AromaMetrics," "we," "us," or "our" mean ClearSpan, LLC. ClearSpan, LLC uses customer information only to provide, operate, support, and improve AromaMetrics. We do not sell personal information.
Information We Handle
AromaMetrics may store or process information needed to run the service, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, store assignments, uploaded business reports, workforce scheduling data, operational messages, and account or billing details.
AromaMetrics Mobile App
The AromaMetrics app is for employees of businesses that use AromaMetrics. Employers add employees and invite them to the app; there is no public sign-up. When you use the app, we handle:
- your name, the email you log in with, and your phone number if your employer or you add it
- your login password, which our authentication provider stores in encrypted (hashed) form
- your stores, shifts, and schedule
- messages, Running Late and Call Out notices, and your answers to store announcements
- your notification and text message choices, including your consent to texts
- a push notification token and your device type (iPhone or Android), so we can send notifications
The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. It contains no advertising or third-party analytics, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. This information is shared with your employer and used only to provide AromaMetrics.
Push Notifications
The app sends notifications about schedule changes, messages from store management, and store announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
Deleting Your App Account
You can delete your app account in the app: tap your profile button at the top of the Home screen, then Delete Account. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing info@aromametrics.com. See Delete your account for details.
Deleting your app account removes your login, push notification registrations, app access, and notification choices, and ends every app session right away. Your employer's work records, such as your employee record, shifts, time and payroll records, and past messages and notices, are kept by your employer because they are business and labor records. Your employer can invite you to the app again later.
How Information Is Used
Information is used for AromaMetrics purposes only. This includes account access, reporting, workforce scheduling, employee Action Hub access, support, security, billing, troubleshooting, and product operation.
No Sale Of Information
AromaMetrics does not sell emails, phone numbers, employee information, uploaded reports, store data, or customer information. We do not use customer contact information for unrelated third-party marketing.
Mobile phone numbers are used only to provide AromaMetrics services and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
SMS Communications
AromaMetrics may send transactional SMS messages related to your workforce account, including account setup, secure login links, Action Hub links, schedule updates, shift notifications, and operational communications.
Employees may reply STOP to stop receiving SMS messages from AromaMetrics. Opting out may prevent delivery of account setup links, secure login links, schedule updates, shift notifications, and other workforce communications required to use AromaMetrics. If you choose to opt out, please contact your employer regarding alternative methods of receiving required workforce communications.
Message frequency varies based on your employer's use of AromaMetrics. Message and data rates may apply.
Service Providers
AromaMetrics may use trusted service providers to operate the product, such as hosting, database, payment, email, or SMS providers. These providers are used only to support AromaMetrics services.
Security
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect account and business data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to information based on service need.
